Profile & Story
El Jefe is sourced from a single family vineyard in the hills of Zamora (VDT Castilla y León), just south of Toro, where the family has farmed for generations at about 2,400 ft on clay, limestone and sand; farming is organic and sustainable and the winemaker is Manu Fariña. The rosé is 100% Tempranillo (Tinta de Toro), fermented in traditional cement vats with no oak to keep the fruit fresh and pure.
