Juanvi is a small-scale, artisan winery established in 2008 in Aragón's Sierra de Gúdar-Javalambre (Rubielos de Mora, Teruel, at 980 m); ‘Juanvi’ is the nickname of winemaker Juan Vicente Alcañiz. The wine blends Garnacha with Tempranillo from organically farmed vines ranging from newly planted to over 90 years old; native-yeast fermentation, ageing on the lees in concrete, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
