La Rioja Alta, S.A. (founded 1890, Haro) is one of Rioja's classic houses. Gran Reserva 904 is a traditional, long-aged Gran Reserva of Tempranillo with Graciano.
Tasting Notes
Intense, deep cherry-red with a garnet rim. Complex aromas dominated by fruit — blackberry jam, raspberry and orange zest — over spicy, balsamic notes of cigar box, cedar, liquorice, cloves, chocolate-mint and toasted wood. An elegantly refined, fresh and lively entry with polished, silky tannins and a long aftertaste of citrus and balsamic notes.
