Muga Rosado 2024
2024, Rioja, Spain
Profile & Story
Bodegas Muga is a family business founded by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño in 1932, in the historic La Estación quarter of Haro, Rioja; three generations sustain a legacy built on respect for the land, attention to detail and family values. Muga Rosado is a fresh, fruity yet elegant rosé of Garnacha and Viura; the hand-picked grapes undergo a gentle ~5-hour maceration in the press, then ferment at 16–18 °C for 15–20 days.
Tasting Notes
The wine is bright and pale pink in colour. On the nose it offers medium intensity, with notes of stone fruit, peach skin and subtle floral and citrus nuances. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, with sharp, well-integrated acidity that gives it tension and length. The finish is refreshing and lingering, with reminders of stone fruit and delicate underlying citrus.
Pairing Recommendation
