Suertes del Marqués is a family winery in the Valle de la Orotava in northern Tenerife (Canary Islands), working volcanic soils and traditional braided-cordon vines. ‘7 Fuentes’ is its village wine, drawn from many small plots of old and young ungrafted vines (chiefly Listán Negro with a little Tintilla/Castellana); it is fermented with native yeasts in concrete and stainless steel and aged about 9 months, mostly in concrete with some French oak.
