Bodegas y Viñedos Valderiz is a family-run estate in Roa de Duero, in the heart of Ribera del Duero, representing seven generations of vine-growers. Sitio de Valdehermoso is a 100% Tinta del País from the single Valdehermoso parcel (heterogeneous sand, gravel, clay and limestone soils), spontaneously fermented and aged 9 months in used French oak. Its name honours a grandfather of the Esteban family, who kept greyhounds for his hunting parties.
