Feudo Montoni has farmed its historic Sicilian grounds since 1469, now under Fabio Sireci, the third generation dedicated to indigenous varieties; the estate is certified organic. Rosé di Adele — named for a rose garden his father Elio dedicated to his wife Adele — is 100% Nerello Mascalese, cryomacerated and aged six months sur lie with bâtonnage in cement.
Tasting Notes
Light pink 'onion skin' color with bronze reflections; aromas of rose petal and violet alongside straw, brine, fennel seed, blackberry, pomegranate and strawberry. Pleasant astringency, good structure, freshness and persistence.
