Founded in 1845 in Cirò Marina, Ippolito is the oldest winery in Calabria, farming over 100 hectares between rolling hills and sunny plains near the Ionian Sea. Mare Chiaro is made from 100% Greco Bianco, harvested in two passes for freshness and structure, then aged 4 months in steel.
Tasting Notes
Crystalline, intense and persistent on the nose, with notes of tropical fruit, pear, peach and white flowers. Fresh and Mediterranean on the palate, with a pleasant saline finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Excellent with sushi, pasta, grilled fish and white meats.
