Le Masciare is a family-run estate of about 20 hectares in Paternopoli, in the Irpinia hills of Campania, within the Taurasi DOCG zone; owners Erik, Virna, Dario and Arjen have farmed it since 2009. Barbassano is 100% Aglianico, 13.5% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red with a full, complex bouquet; intense fruity notes of black cherry, blackberry and prune, with balanced tannins.

Roasted red meats, structured main courses, game and aged cheeses.
