Chateau Larose-Trintaudon is a Cru Bourgeois Superieur in the Haut-Medoc, one of the largest single estates in the Medoc at 250 hectares, on deep gravel soils at the edge of the Pauillac appellation. The estate has held ISO 14001 certification since 2003 and has since added accreditations in reasoned viticulture, High Environmental Value and CSR certification at Exemplary level, alongside Terra Vitis; in 2020 it was classed a Cru Bourgeois Superieur. Le Haut-Medoc de Trintaudon is a Bordeaux blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with small portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes
Haut-Medoc Bordeaux blend typically shows blackcurrant and plum aromas with cedar and graphite notes, a medium- to full-bodied palate, structured tannins and a savoury, gravelly finish.
