Profile & Story

Domaine de la Rivière, launched in 2017 with winemaker Kale Anderson, is a family-owned winery sustainably farming Vineyard Eleven and neighboring sites in the Middle Reach of the Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, producing less than 1,200 cases annually. This Pinot Noir is sourced from the Middle Reach Vineyards (Starr Ridge and the Vineyard Eleven estate), Pommard/Mt. Eden clones.

Tasting Notes

Ripe raspberry, cola, dried herb and cedar lead the nose, joined by pomegranate, red cherry, black tea, wild strawberry, forest floor and black truffle. Concentrated and built to age, it finishes savory and persistent.
