Founded in 2013 by Ned and Erika Hill, La Prenda Wines grows and produces wine from vineyards across Sonoma and Napa Counties. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a vineyard at 500 ft. elevation just north of Arrowhead Mountain in Napa Valley.
Tasting Notes
Deep, dense ruby-red color with hints of purple at the rim; an intense, complex bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum with secondary aromas of cedar and vanilla; full-bodied with well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, finishing with smooth dark chocolate and earthy notes.
Pairing Recommendation
The wine is perfect to cellar or pop open for a nice steak.
