Matthew Wallace Wines pairs vineyard manager Matt Hardin, whose family has farmed and ranched in Napa for six generations, with winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. Their Sauvignon Blanc comes from Hardin Ranch, set in the flats of Pope Valley on the morning side of Howell Mountain, where near-constant sunshine builds bright fruit and plunging nighttime temperatures preserve lively acidity. The goal is California vibrancy with the texture and depth of fine white Bordeaux.
