Profile & Story

Tenuta di Bibbiano is a fifth-generation family estate in Castellina in Chianti, farming roughly 30-37 hectares and a member of the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico since 1948. The Chianti Classico is 100% Sangiovese from estate vineyards, fermented in stainless steel over 16-18 days and aged about 12 months in cement vats. ABV runs 13.5-14.5% depending on vintage.

Tasting Notes

Deep, brilliant ruby red with purple reflections; aromas of orange peel, violet and rose lead to a palate of redcurrant, strawberry and cherry with hints of peach and vanilla, dry and harmonious through the finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Steak, roasted meats and classic Tuscan fare.
