Profile & Story

Domaine Perraud is a fourth-generation family estate founded in 1951 in La Roche-Vineuse, at the heart of the Maconnais in southern Burgundy, now run by Jean-Christophe Perraud. Grapes are whole-cluster pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel, with a portion aged in older French oak; wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered. The Mâcon-Villages is the estate's entry-level Chardonnay, sourced from the chalky soils around the village.
