Altos Las Hormigas, founded in 1995 by winemaker Alberto Antonini and entrepreneur Antonio Morescalchi, was a pioneer of terroir-focused Malbec in Mendoza. The Clasico bottling is certified organic and fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby-red with deep violet hues; aromas of red and dark fruit -- plum, cherry and raspberry -- with soft, approachable tannins.
