Profile & Story
G.D. Vajra, founded in 1972 by Aldo and Milena Vajra, is one of Barolo's most respected organic family estates. This Langhe Nebbiolo comes from high-elevation, organically farmed vineyards across Barolo, Novello and Sinio, hand-harvested early morning and aged 8-14 months mostly in stainless steel with some neutral Slavonian oak.
Tasting Notes
A lighter, earlier-drinking glimpse of Nebbiolo's character -- red cherry and rose petal aromas with the variety's signature bright acidity and fine tannin.

Braised meats, mushroom risotto, or aged Piedmontese cheeses.
