Cantine Umberto Bortolotti was founded in 1947 by oenologist Umberto Bortolotti in Valdobbiadene and remains family-run today. This Prosecco Superiore DOCG is 100% Glera grown on clay, sandstone and marl soils between 225-350 meters in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene zone, hand-harvested in late September, fermented 10-12 days, and finished via the Charmat/autoclave method before resting 4-5 months in bottle. The vineyards are farmed with organic practices.
