Estate founded 1746 by Nicolas Chiquet; brand created 1935. Cuvée de Réserve conceived as a tribute to founder's grandfather. Blend 40% Meunier/35% Chardonnay/25% Pinot Noir, aged 6+ years on lees (84–108 months), no oak — relies on fruit concentration and malolactic fermentation for body.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and focused, with a streak of chalky minerality and a lively, lacy mousse carrying flavors of crunchy pear, mandarin orange peel, dried white cherry, grilled nuts and light herbs; ripe fruit of apricot, mango, frangipane, croissant dough with toast notes.
