Chandra Kurt, based in Zurich, is Switzerland's foremost wine writer, educator and critic and the author of more than 20 books on wine, including a study of Chasselas from Fechy to Dezaley; she has launched her own line of wines from vineyards in Geneva, Vaud and Valais. Glou Glou Chasselas comes from 10-20 year old vines on alluvial clay and gravel soils at 425 meters in Geneva; the grapes are hand-harvested and given a slow, cold fermentation in stainless steel, then bottled with a small amount of trapped CO2 from the primary fermentation.
