Claus Preisinger has made wine on the north shore of Lake Neusiedl in Gols, Burgenland since 2002, converting to biodynamic production in 2006 and holding Respekt Biodyn certification; reduction, minimalism and a free spirit are his guiding principles. Puszta Blanca is 60% Gruner Veltliner, 35% Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) and 5% Muscat Ottonel from biodynamically farmed vineyards on limestone and gravel soils near the Puszta; fermented spontaneously in stainless steel with seven days of skin contact and seven months on the lees.

Pairs with avocado toast and smoked salmon, or a classic Austrian Brettljause of cured meats, cheese and vegetables with jams and spreads.
