Champagne André Heucq is a family, certified-organic grower-producer based in Cuisles in the Vallée de la Marne. This single-varietal cuvée is 100% organically farmed Pinot Meunier drawn from old vines (around 30 years) across the clay (illite) soils of Cuisles, Châtillon-sur-Marne, Serzy, and Mareuil-le-Port. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and is aged on its lees in stainless steel for 48 months before release as an Extra Brut, produced in a limited run of roughly 25,000 bottles.
Tasting Notes
As a pure Meunier Champagne (Blanc de Meunier), expect a deeper gold hue and a rounder, fruit-forward profile than Chardonnay-based cuvées — ripe orchard fruit and brioche notes with a soft, generous mousse, finishing dry with the gentle austerity typical of Extra Brut dosage.
