Profile & Story
Clos Cibonne is a historic Côtes de Provence estate in Le Pradet, long associated with the rare Tibouren grape. The Tentations line, launched in 2005, is a more accessible, fruit-forward counterpart to the estate's traditional barrel-aged Cru Classé rosés. This cuvée blends estate Tibouren with Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah sourced from growers in La Crau and Carqueiranne; the grapes are direct-pressed and fermented at low temperature in stainless steel, then aged on the lees for two months without the extended barrel aging of Clos Cibonne's flagship wines.
Tasting Notes
A fresh, fruit-driven Côtes de Provence rosé built around Tibouren, Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah. Expect pale salmon color, red-berry and citrus aromatics, and a light, dry, easy-drinking palate meant for immediate enjoyment rather than the estate's more structured barrel-aged bottlings.
Pairing Recommendation
Fantastic as an aperitif, with enough complexity to complement a range of dishes at the table.
