Selected hillside vineyards in Marano di Valpolicella valley, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, planted in calcareous soils at 200-350 mt o.s.l. The blend includes Corvina Veronese and Corvinone Veronese 80%, Rondinella 20%. The wine is refined in big oak barrels of 20-30-50 hl for 1 year, then is finally refined in a bottle for 4 months.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red color. Spicy bouquet with intense aromas of ripe cherry and jam. Dry, full, soft flavor in the mouth, with a very pleasant bitter finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Perfect with pasta dishes, meat, game, and cheeses. Ideal with traditional “risotto”. Recommended drinking temperature 17-18 °C.
