Domaine Henri Bourgeois, part of the broader Famille Bourgeois (which also owns Clos Henri in New Zealand), farms Sancerre's marl, limestone and flint soils around Chavignol. Its Sancerre rosé is made from Pinot Noir grown on limestone terroir, aiming for the taut, precise style the family associates with the region's finest white and rosé wines.
