La Spinetta traces back to the Rivetti family's return to Piedmont after a generation in Argentina; in 1977 the family settled at La Spinetta in Castagnole Lanze, and the estate is now run by brothers Carlo, Bruno and Giorgio Rivetti. The Langhe Nebbiolo draws on fruit from the family's three Barbaresco vineyards in Neive.
Tasting Notes
Broad and penetrating on the nose, with hints of fresh fruit, violets and roses, the wine opens softly on the palate before gentle, persistent tannins take hold — intense, intriguing and harmonious.
