Profile & Story

Parparoussis Winery was founded in 1974 by oenologist Athanassios Parparoussis at the family estate in Bozaitika, near Patras in the Peloponnese, and is now run together with his daughters Erifili, an oenologist, and Dimitra. The winery has produced organic wine from the rare, indigenous Sideritis variety of Achaia since 1980, and is one of only two producers working with the grape.
