Profile & Story

Serego Alighieri is one of the Veneto's most historic estates, its roots tracing to 1353 when Pietro Alighieri, son of Dante, bought the Casal dei Ronchi vineyard in Valpolicella; the family has stewarded the property for twenty-two generations and joined the Masi Group in 1973. Possessioni Bianco blends Garganega, the grape of Soave, with Sauvignon Blanc.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw-yellow with light green reflections, the wine shows typical Sauvignon fruitiness with hints of pear, good structure, refreshing acidity, and a dry finish.

Pairing Recommendation

An excellent aperitif, and good with antipasti, fish dishes, summer food, pizza, salads, salami and white meat.
