Tenuta di Fessina is the work of Silvia Maestrelli, who left Milan for Sicily in 2006 and fell in love with Mount Etna; the estate describes each wine as the result of a constant dialogue between nature and winemaker, beginning in the vineyard and completed in the glass. Erse is the estate's entry-level Etna Bianco, made from Carricante, the grape most representative of the Etna Bianco DOC.
