Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair continues a Burgundy winemaking tradition stretching back some 250 years; Thibault took over the family's vines in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the Côte d'Or, in 2001 at age twenty-six. 'Les Deux Terres' — 'the two lands' — is a deliberate blend of Beaujolais and Burgundy fruit, mostly Gamay with a smaller share of Pinot Noir.
