Cerbaiona Brunello di Montalcino 2020
2020, Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy
Profile & Story
Cerbaiona's 2021 Brunello di Montalcino, bottled in April 2024, marks forty years of the label (first produced with the 1981 vintage) and is the first Brunello to include fruit from vineyards replanted in 2017 and trained by the alberello method. The estate regards 2021, alongside 2016, as the great Brunello vintage of the decade.
Tasting Notes
A wine of full ripeness with a fine, taut and balanced texture; harmony and elegance combine with real depth of structure, and a tension, vigour, cleanliness and precision that promise greater complexity with age.
