Au Bon Climat has crafted Santa Barbara County Chardonnay since 1982, holding to a subtle, mineral-driven style. The wine is sourced from five vineyards -- Bien Nacido, Los Alamos, Rancho Real, Gold Coast and North Canyon -- hand-picked and whole-cluster pressed, then barrel-fermented and aged sur lie for about 8 months in largely neutral French oak.

Tasting Notes

Citrus and stone fruit with a lemon-lime zest finish, and background spice notes of clove and nutmeg from sur lie aging.
