Chateau de Sancerre is one of the few French estates to share its name with its appellation. Its vineyard on the left bank of the Loire spans four distinct soil types with an average vine age of 25-30 years; the wines are vinified, aged and bottled entirely on the property.
Tasting Notes
Lively and crisp with good structure, evoking ripe gooseberry, white and yellow fruit and white flowers, with smoky, flinty notes.
