About the Wine
HORA is a red blend essentially sourced from our 4 plots on the St Helena alluvial fan. Where all our wines show complexity and premium characteristics, Hora is meant to be on the more drinkable side. It is a tribute to our sustainable practices as “Hora” is an ancient Greek term to designate the sequence of the 4 seasons, and our 58 acres of vineyard are organically certified by the CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers). 55% Cab 35% Merlot 10% Malbec. Total production: 2,400 cases
Tasting Notes
Quite an evolved dark crimson. Fresh nose of interest. Lots of sweetness on the front palate and some real structure. Long and interesting. Quite an achievement! Definitely not to be overlooked. And not ridiculously priced by Napa standards.
