Profile & Story
Chateau Loudenne has looked out over the Gironde estuary in the northern Medoc since the 17th century, and in 1880 became the first chateau on the peninsula to bottle a white wine. The Bordeaux Blanc continues that tradition, blending cask-aged Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon from the estate's riverside vineyards.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow with green tints; citrus aromas lead into notes of peach, candied grape and hazelnut, with a lively, well-balanced attack and a faint salty, iodized touch from the estuary mist.
