Profile & Story

Lieu Dit is a Santa Barbara County partnership between Eric Railsback and Justin Willett built around Loire varieties grown far from the Loire; their Chenin Blanc comes from sandy, well-drained Santa Ynez Valley sites, fermented with native yeasts and kept largely out of new oak to stay honest, balanced and true to fruit and place.

Tasting Notes

Bright pear and yellow apple mingle with lemon peel and a touch of chamomile, framed by a saline minerality and a gentle waxy texture on the finish.
