Chateau Terre Blanche is a family estate in Saint-Genes-de-Castillon, on the edge of the Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux appellation bordering Saint-Emilion, made by Laurent Massarin, the fourth generation of his family to run the property. The wine is a Right Bank Bordeaux blend led by Merlot (around 80%), with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc rounding out the remainder, estate-bottled at the chateau.
Tasting Notes
Aromatic and fresh on the nose, with blackberry and plum fruit; the palate is smooth and full-bodied, built around rich, ripe dark fruit with elegance and finesse typical of the appellation.
