Cantina Valle Isarco (Eisacktaler Kellerei in German) is a growers' cooperative in the Isarco/Eisacktal Valley, the northernmost wine-producing area of Alto Adige, with around 135 member-grower families. Pinot Grigio here is grown on the lightly clayey soils of the mid and lower valley, where hot summer days and cool nights at harvest help the grapes reach full sugar ripeness while the light, gravelly, mineral-rich soils give the wines their characteristic structure.
