Podere Castorani is an Abruzzo winery co-founded by former Formula One driver Jarno Trulli and managing director Lucio Cavuto, built on a property with roots dating back to 1793. The estate lies on the Alanno hills in the province of Pescara, between the Majella National Park and the Adriatic coast, where the vineyards benefit from strong daytime sun and cooling night winds off the mountains. All farming follows organic principles, with no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Montepulciano is the estate's principal red grape, alongside Trebbiano and Pecorino in white.
