Profile & Story
Joan Franquet founded Costador Terroirs Mediterranis around his family's old vines in Conca de Barberà and Priorat, farming organically and fermenting in clay amphora. La Fassina comes from a single vineyard of 100-year-old Trepat vines 700 meters up, hand-harvested and partially destemmed, fermented in amphora for a month, then aged on the lees in barrel for 14 months before bottling unfiltered.

Light on its feet despite the dark color, with red pomegranate fruit, a savory forest-floor edge and a silky, mineral-driven finish.
