Profile & Story
Da Cruz e Teles is a small partnership between winemakers Tiago Teles and António Marques-da Cruz, farming a 25-year-old organic vineyard in the Serra de Montejunto, north of Lisbon. Pop is built from old-vine Vital, given a short skin maceration before resting in old Burgundy barrels for the better part of a year — a natural, minimal-intervention take on a native Portuguese white grape.
Tasting Notes
A pale amber, skin-contact white with the light grip and texture that comes from time on the skins. Expect smoky citrus pith, marmalade and a lean, mineral finish with a faint tannic edge.
