Barbichette is the Brooklyn-based project of Cesar Vega and Louisiane Remy, who work with organically farmed Finger Lakes fruit. Poc a Poc ('little by little' in Catalan) is inspired by the macerated Muscats of Matassa in the Cotes Catalanes, where Cesar did a stage with Tom Lubbe.
Tasting Notes
A Muscat from Seneca Lake macerated on skins for about two weeks and aged eight months in cask; high-toned and aromatic with orange and honeysuckle notes. Bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no added SO2. Served on draft.
