Stephane Tissot and his wife Benedicte took over the family domaine in Arbois (Jura) in 1990, farming 46 hectares biodynamically (Demeter certified) with parcel-by-parcel vinifications. BBF stands for 'Blanc de Blancs eleve en Fut' - a Cremant du Jura made exclusively from Chardonnay grown on limestone and clay soils, vinified in 228-liter barrels and refined 48 months on laths before disgorging, bottled without dosage.
Tasting Notes
Remarkable, fine effervescence; a Chardonnay driven by tension and minerality, rich and intense on the palate with aromas of hazelnut and pronounced chalky minerality.
