Domaine Mosse was founded in Anjou in 1999 by Agnes and Rene Mosse, pioneers of natural wine; since 2015 their sons Sylvestre and Joseph have taken over. Le Rouchefer is 100% Chenin Blanc from a single vineyard of clay and quartz over schist (vines planted in 1976), farmed organically since 1999.
Tasting Notes
Predominantly direct-pressed and aged in two 25-hectolitre casks; fermented naturally with minimal cellar intervention - a mineral, structured, dry Chenin.
