Apothic is a California wine brand from E. & J. Gallo, launched in 2010 and built around bold, rich red blends with a distinctive dark, mysterious brand aesthetic (the name derives from "apothecary," referencing the winemaker's blending craft). Apothic Red, the brand's flagship, blends varieties like Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon into a smooth, slightly sweet, approachable red that became one of the best-selling red blends in the US.
