The Long Drink traces back to 1952, when Finland created a premixed, bottled cocktail of gin and grapefruit soda to serve the crowds at the Helsinki Summer Olympics — a drink that became a Finnish staple. In 2017, three Finns (Ere Partanen, Sakari Manninen, and Mikael Taipale) and an American (Evan Burns) founded The Long Drink Company to bring a canned version of that tradition to the U.S. market. Made with real cane sugar and natural flavors, the lightly carbonated cocktail is offered in flavors including Traditional Citrus, Pineapple, Raspberry, Peach, Cranberry, and a Zero Sugar option. The company has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing spirits brands in the U.S.
