Michele Chiarlo is a family winery in Piedmont, Italy. Le Orme is drawn from five of the estate's Barbera vineyards in the Nizza area, including the noted La Court property, planted on light, limestone-rich Astian sands. The wine is 100% Barbera, fermented with 10 days of skin maceration in stainless steel, aged 3 months in large French oak casks, then rested at least a year in bottle before release.
