Profile & Story

Decoy was founded in 1985 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn to build on their family's winemaking heritage. The Decoy Limited tier is crafted from grapes grown on some of Alexander Valley's most acclaimed vineyards, including the Duckhorn family's own estate parcels, and aged roughly 14 months in French oak (40% new).

Tasting Notes

Robust layers of blackberry, plum and dark chocolate mingle with violets and French-oak notes of vanilla and spice, framed by firm, structured tannins.
