Antonella Lombardo farms 100% Nerello Mascalese for this rose at 50-100m altitude on northeast-facing slopes in Bianco, Calabria, on clay soil with Pliocene-era calcareous marl, managed without chemical herbicides. Grapes are hand-picked in the cool morning hours, destemmed and softly pressed, then ferment in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts before resting on lees for five months.
Tasting Notes
A deep antique-rose color with perfumes and flavors of red fruit, citrus, and spice alongside light floral notes; the palate is captivating and saline, with a persistent, pleasant finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, with raw fish, fresh cheeses, and white meats.
