Profile & Story
Apollo's Praise is a Finger Lakes project from winemakers Kelby James Russell and Julia Rose Hoyle, centered on their Lahoma Vineyard on Seneca Lake. This Gamay Noir, inspired by Cru Beaujolais, comes from a gravelly, sloped block close to the lake; the fruit was cold-soaked in stainless steel, then underwent spontaneous fermentation in a French oak tank with hand punchdowns.
